We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role involves providing advanced nursing care to children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, brain tumors, and other malignancies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric oncology, excellent clinical judgment, and a passion for delivering family-centered care. As a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with pediatric oncologists, hematologists, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will be responsible for conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and managing side effects of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation. In addition, you will provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the treatment journey. This position requires a high level of autonomy and clinical expertise, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with children and their caregivers. You will also play a key role in coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity and quality of care. Participation in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education is encouraged and supported. The successful candidate must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with certification in Pediatric Nursing and Oncology Nursing. Experience in pediatric oncology is strongly preferred.
